Just Wait
I stood in front of my mirror, waiting though I wasn't sure for what. I suppose it was for the image to shift into something better. As if something more would settle in my gut. I slide into an over sized sweater. Like that will hide that I have boobs, gut, and a butt. I sit down to draft a final letter. I was waiting, waiting for someone else to save me. I woke up, the letter in my back pocket I walk into school with my friends yelling they have tea. My advise to them will always be block "it" The weight on my shoulders lift like it was never there On way home, it catches me unaware. And I wait to see if I make it another day. Breathe, in and out, again and again Just take it one step at a time Life is tough but it's something to befriend "When life gives you lemons give life limes." Just wait, don't write your final letter today. Cause I promise there something more to say. Just wait.
