Just Listen
Not for plea of pity, But an ear to my plight. What I give so freely, I would gain from a fight. I ask only for respect, And not out of fright. So listen and respond, Please treat me right. I need no lecture, Neither lie nor true. See me only as me, Peer as I would at you. Let no belief have hold, As it clouds your view. I need only your presence, But you let your mind ensue.
