Just like that
your okay ? Your not wasting tears? as I'm still stuck finding excuses for you I wear a smile on my face, but inside I ache late nights are what I'm used to now I gave my all, poured out my heart and soul you had me to fall on every word Your word was the Bible the word of truth but you only seen me as a kissing booth But I still care about you I care if you ate anything or slept okay I know you don't care about me. Right? How dare I even think for a second you would? I wish I could erase you from my mind But your presence lingers, haunting me every day I try to move forward, but I seem to be blind To the reality that your just not worth the dismay I find myself making excuses for your behavior Trying to justify why you left me in the dust But deep down I know it was your own favor To walk away, leaving my heart in mistrust I try to find solace in the fact that your hurting too But it's hard to sympathize with someone who caused pain I try to move on, to find someone new But the scars you left behind never healed
