Just Be Patient
If you rush, you will crush Frail foundations fracture beneath hurried feet. Inch by inch, it’s a clinch Victory is not seized, but earned in quiet increments, Each measured breath a vow against defeat. Slowly and slowly, until you get there Just be patient. You cannot turn the soil, plant the seed, and reap the harvest in one sun. The earth keeps covenant with time; so must you. There is a season for sowing, a season for weeping, A season for silence, and a season for song. Just be patient. Tears will fall like rain upon parched ground, And they will dry, leaving salt lines as testimony Yet hope remains, indestructible, rooted deep. You fall, you rise. You falter, you try again, And again, until your palms graze the summit You once only glimpsed through clouds. Sometimes dreams must die to resurrect Entombed in doubt, only to rise clothed in glory. The grave is not the end; it is a womb for miracles. So gird yourself with courage, and anoint yourself with hope. The night may linger, but it cannot outlast the decree of dawn. Your scars are scripture. Your waiting is worship. And when the appointed hour arrives, The door will yield, the bread will come.
