Just Another Dreamer
In the quiet cradle of a midnight breeze, I wander through thoughts no eye ever sees. Just another dreamer, lost in her light, Building a world from stardust and flight, Carving her name in moon-whispered trees. Each step I take through this sleeping haze, Is lit by echoes of her silken gaze. Time bends gently around her name, A spark in the dark, a lover's flame Forever etched in yesterday’s maze. I trace the sky where we used to fly, With hopeful tears that do not lie. She was the voice in my silent song, A melody that’s lingered all along, The whisper of love in a hollow cry. Dreamers, they say, live in the clouds, But I walk among them, beneath love’s shrouds. For even if this heart remains unseen, She lives in every broken dream A queen crowned in forgotten crowds. With stars as ink and heart as page, I write of her in every age. My soul adores what time won’t keep, She visits nightly in my sleep Soft as dusk and bright as rage. And if I wake to a world still bare, I’ll close my eyes and find her there. A dreamer’s truth is never wrong, For even dreams where we belong, Are love songs floating in the air.
