Jesus Vs Death
Beneath a crimson moon, A pale figure comes into view, His smile twists and turns, a strange violence ensues, His hands are strangely withered, His face covered in sores, His broken heart is snakes, That slither on the floor, He looks at me with sadness, He opens his mouth to say, For you and I have broken hearts, I am death by the way, He puts his hand upon my chest, And my breathing begins to fade, My body so freezing cold, As my soul is whisked away, The light shines down, He looks around, he sees a man, With a hooded shroud, The man steps forward, He lowers his hood, Death takes a step back, For he knows he really should, The hooded man, Says 'leave this man' For his soul is bought with a price, For it was my blood who saved his life, For I am Jesus Christ, Death looks away, With nothing really to say, His face hits the ground as Jesus, Starts to pray, My God is so very good, My father is so kind, 'Go on young man Live For it is not your time', My love for him is great, And eternally so, For Jesus saved me from death, As he truly owns my soul
