JESUS
He came from above, Out of Love. Leaving His Godliness, He became one with human race, He was humble, Taking our nature but he didn’t stumble. Through Mary’s womb Before being laid in the tomb He was born to us, To suffer for the sins, Of us who went astray, Following our way. Innocent as he was, To the sword, he was put. Through the cross, From the land of the living, off he was cut, Death for him was a must. He came to save, But was given a grave, He slept among the wicked, Three days with the dead, They thought it was over, The end of His destiny. But never it was! On the third day, He rose, “See my feet and hands Touch me and see That it is I myself” He said to those he appeared to. He went back to his throne, Heaven his home, But again, in glory, he shall come, As the Judge of us all, And to take us to His Kingdom, Where with His Father they reign.
