Jelousy of a Daughter
Sometimes I am jealous when my mother complains Explaining how hard it is to get out of work to pick me up when im sick Or having to get up early to take me to school When me or my father don't pick up after ourselves Oh, how I long to struggle with fitting others into my life Oh, how I wish I had to clean the dirty dishes of another or clean the mess they left behind To rearrange my schedule to fit both of our days How I long to struggle with the presence of another.
