It's So Quiet

It's so quiet I can only hear drops coming from my water fountain. so relaxing, barely any sound. It's so quiet My thoughts are dancing in my head. I can also hear the traffic, just outside. My window is open for fresh air. so my cat can gaze out at nature today. It's so quiet, I find so much peace in it all I hear the birds chirping calming my mind. As my imagination plays in the wind. It's so quiet, I know it wont last long. I treasure every moment I have until the sun goes down, until my loved one comes home. It's so quiet. I can't help but to take it all in. As I do, the sound of my cat meows at me. at the same time, I find his purrrr relaxing. It's so quiet until it's not. That is when I realize how much I take that for granted. like many moments when you don't have it. It's so quiet.
