It's a Mask
My thoughts are heavy, i have so much to say but i barely open up I sometimes feel I'm living it all wrong, a life that's messed up Have never really been happy for a very long time, just got used to the pain I still have those scars on me, can't cover them up, a deep look and you'll see the stain Poem has been my comfort, my therapy and best way to let out my pain Barely close my eyes at night, too scared to get caught up in the experience again Have never really smiled for a very long time, just found a way to show the world what they want to see A closer look at those smiles and you'll see it's a mask
