It'll soon be over

We smile even on our darkest days We've mastered hiding from the world We fear we will be looked down on That is why we sometimes wear a mask One day we'll get over these days We will soon be walking with our heads held up high We won't have to wear masks As we will truly be happy We face challenges in life We won't give up without a fight Even when the going gets tough I strongly believe we're warriors One day this will all be over We will shine bright like the sun does We'll be able to tell our stories With smiles on on our faces; Saying we did that, Because of perseverance and hope It was worth the wait.
