It took one cut for my addiction Soon I was good at addition Counting the scars as if they were stars Only they weren't endless They were priceless But as they kept adding up The harder it was to stop Some were deep And put me to sleep Some where shallow And left me hollow I use my nails To keep up with my sales Instead of drugs and knifes Scratching is keeping me alive But no matter what I try I still want to die But I'll keep trying So I don't end up flying
