It Isn't Like
Life is easy. It's not like you don't insult me, Then forget I need you. It's not like I'm always alone in my room, Only to be questioned about what I'm doing. It's not like I clean all day, And I'm still called lazy. It's not like I have an entire life of school and chores, Just to be told I need to be responsible. It's not like I take care of all the animals, That aren't even mine. I'm not traumatized. I don't remember the fights. It's understandable that you're tired. It's not like you just sit at the TV all day. So I'll be perfect in school, do everything alone. I'll be called lazy, that I need to do more. I wish it wasn't like that, But it is. So I'll endure your insults. Life isn't easy.
