It Is Well.
In the midst of tribulations, I find my peaceful nest A sense of tranquility, that soothes my soul's unrest The tempests rage, the thunder roars, the lightning flashes bright Yet, in the eye of the hurricane, I find my calm, my light The vicissitudes of life, they ebb and flow like the tide But I remain steadfast, unmoved, my heart anchored inside The whims of fate, they twist and turn, like a labyrinthine road Yet, I press on, undeterred, my spirit unbroken, my soul unfold In the crucible of suffering, I am refined, like silver in the fire Purified, like gold, my heart, my will, my soul, my deepest desire The trials, they assail me, like a relentless, driving rain Yet, I stand firm, unshaken, my roots, like a tree, deep in the earth, sustain It is well, it is well, with my soul, I say For I have found my peace, my heart, my way Through the darkness, the light shines bright It is well, it is well, my soul takes flight.
