Isolated

Lately, my nights have been isolated Isolated from the world around me Going out doesn't fill the void you left in me I look up at the stars wondering if I cross your thoughts Because you never leave mine Sometimes I want to reach out And yet I always stop myself I know we will never be Something I've come to terms with you never feeling the same way I do for you That makes it worse Knowing you will never be mine and yet hoping you will change your mind and come back running to me For now, I'll keep being isolated from the world In hopes that I can one day get over you
