Is It Love or Just Kindness?
In a world of difference, where years may divide, I found a boy, not the same age, but my heart can’t hide. In his caring touch, a warmth I’ve never known, In his protection, a safety I’ve been shown. His smile, a sunrise in my darkest day, In his gaze, I feel a spark, lighting up my way. Lately, his thoughts are tangled in my mind, A question lingers, its answer hard to find. Does his heart beat like mine, in this silent dance? Or is his kindness just a simple, pure chance? In his every gesture, I see hope’s gentle flame, But is it love, or am I caught in a gentle game? The way he treats me, it feels like more, But maybe he’s just kind, to his very core. So I wonder, with every thought and every sigh, Is there love in his heart, or just a friendly tie?
