Iron Dome
[AN: I hope my last breath is a sigh of relief.] I feel trapped— it's wrong, I know I shouldn't, but I do. The place I'm supposed to love, the people meant to be home, are the ones who cage me beneath an iron dome. Cut off from the world outside, they despise that I'm not someone they can parade with pride. These walls press closer each day, built by blood too near, too familiar in their weight. I run from those I'm meant to run to when darkness falls. I've learned it's safer to disappear than to share the cracks that spider through it all.
