Invocation of the gilded lady
Coalitions of auburn tides ebb, then flow, then ebb again, then flow forever more. Pleading eyes giving meaning to the jagged breaths and quiet whimpers. a subtle language only spoken once, here, with a message that is meaningless to all but it's recipient. The page gives a knowing glare and speaks the same language, written upon the body with mouth, then hands. the subtlety of this language of hand and mouth is forsaken when the writer speaks spells upon the page. The page flutters, moving of their accord, cursing the incantations invoked. As heat and fire rise upon the page. Before the page can beg, the writer look at the bottom of the page, and signs their work. The page catches alight once more, forgetting all but the writers words, fluttering to and fro, until the writer utters a final rite. the page is burnt to ash, a conversation lost, but remembered evermore.
