Invisible Scars

Hiding from the world feels like my only option Afraid to let people in, afraid of being hurt I lock away my true self, hiding behind masks Afraid of being judged I'm trying to protect myself from pain But it's hard to know if it's worth the loneliness I'm searching for a way to be okay To find my place in the world without fear I'm taking things one step at a time Trying to navigate through life's challenges I'm learning to be gentle with myself And to find my own way.
