Invisible Me
I stand in a crowded space A sea of faces, yet no one's gaze Meets mine, or acknowledges my name I'm a ghost, a whisper, a fleeting flame Their words, a gentle breeze that passes by Their eyes, a distant horizon, never meeting mine I'm a shadow, a silhouette, a mere outline A presence that's felt, yet never defined I try to speak, to make my voice heard But it's drowned out by the noise, the words unspoken, unheard I'm a drop of water in an endless sea A small, insignificant part of humanity But still I stand, I breathe, I exist A soul, a heart, a mind that persists In a world that ignores me, I'll find my way And make my presence known, come what may.
