"Invisible Benevolence"
Here I am, asking myself, Why am I so foolish, why do I never learn? I care too deeply, though I know I shouldn't, Yet, why can't I cease worrying for others? They never acknowledge my presence, it seems, I'm invisible, a shadow in their sight, But still, I cannot abandon them, I yearn for their happiness, I wish with all my might. Perhaps I've caught a fever once more, A sickness of the heart, a burden to bear, I long to surrender, to fade away, But I am bound by duty, by love, by care.
