Internet Life
When I get home I sit on my phone And I talk to people I don't actually know I kind of like the mystery Of who's behind the screen They could be anyone Kid, adult or teen On the internet it's easier To be my true self To express my struggles To ask for help On the internet it's easier For me to make friends Because they don't know who I am So my anxiety descends In the real world I don't have a place So I'll stick to people Who can't see my face I'm not an outcast here I feel much more alive That's why I prefer My internet life
