Insomnia
A dull, thudding ache Keeps holding me awake Between my god forsaken eyes Pain, sorrow, and lies Stars I can't see shine While my thoughts track this line Sweating, screaming, clawing All I can do in Devil's hour, sobbing Creeping decay eats away at my insides Mimics the emptiness in the dying minds My life spent choking upon dust Never able to be what I must A glitch in mistakes, code wiring misfiring My mind spinning, I'll vomit, this is tiring Trapped in the waking world, my cuts I trace Slow death kisses exhaustion upon my face Like you would care if you knew Insomnia is my friend, I'll be born anew
