INSIDE MY HEAD...
I wake up tired — not from sleep, But from the thoughts I always keep. A million voices in my head, Before my feet can leave the bed. I overthink like it’s a second skin, Like every silence hides some sin. I smile outside, act like I’m strong, But inside me feels... all kinds of wrong. Is it me? Am I too much? Too weird? Why do simple things come wrapped in fear? I overthink the things I said last week, Replay it all, even when no one speaks. I'm in UNIBEN, trying to survive, But some days, man, I barely feel alive. Classes, strikes, poor network — a mess, And I carry it all, this silent stress. I’m tired, bro. Not just the physical kind, But that tired that lives in the back of the mind. Where you smile at jokes, but you’re barely there, Because anxiety’s loud, and life’s unfair. What if I fail? What if I fall? What if I lose it all, after giving it all? What if the future doesn’t hold space, For someone like me, moving at this pace? So if you see me quiet, deep in thought, Just know I’m battling things you’re not. But I’m not weak, I’m just real, And I’m learning, slowly, how to heal.
