inside my grain
There's pain inside my grain so tight, It coils beneath my skin at night. A quiet hurt no eyes can see, But it breathes every breath with me. it's in my bones, it's in my name, A silence fire I cannot tame. I smile, I speak , I play the part, But sorrow nests inside my heart. No one can touch the place it stays, It's written deep in hidden ways. I carry the storm I never show - And bleed in place no ones know.
