India - A Democratic Country
A Government of questions In halls of power, bright and grand A question rises bold and planned For every law and each decision Democracy breathes through opposition. A party rules, the other asks Holding truth in tireless tasks The coin of freedom, sharp and round One side speaks, the other side sounds. Let road run clean, let drain not flood Even in rain, through sweat and mud Let storms may come, let drought arrive But questions keep the truth alive. There was a time when BJP Asked Congress hard, inceasingly Today the tide has turned anew And Congress ask the questions too. Corruption, riots , scams we've seen No party's past is truly clean Yet still we stand, we ask, we learn For through the fire, great nations burn. If Congress builds a heaven here Still BJP will question, clear And if the BJP does the same Congress too will stake its claim.
