indestructible
Help me with my broken heart. I gave it to one who tore it apart. The pieces are all scattered. It fell right here and shattered. I asked for help but no one bothered. My friends are handling another matter. I've ran out of glue and tape. All that's holding it together is faith. It's fragile so handle it with care. The cracks still show everywhere. I painted here and there. I'm not a painter so some parts are bare. I'm not sure how blood keeps flowing. It's more resilient that I'm knowing. It keeps pumping even when it's broken. I keep it guarded and hidden. Protect it best I can but listen. Something is wrong its off rhythm. My brain moves on and my heart remembers. I can't stay stuck in this feeling forever. So I pick myself up and walk through life. Scars showing those I can't hide. And I wouldn't want to for they are mine. They tell a story that I will survive.
