Inconveniently convenient
My life is too convenient now My small bed is suddenly much too big I'm going for runs not r-u-n-s I'm not crawling under my bed for socks or shirts I'm not sharing my last bites I'm sleeping in more and more My life is too quiet now There are no groans from wet kisses There is no crying when I pull into the drive There is no scratching at the door when I come home The vacuum isn't being ran as often I miss my inconvenient My small bed much too small of us each night Having to spell out words when you were in the room Having to fish out outfits from under my bed Sharing all of my last bites Waking up early everyday, even weekends I miss my loud The groans after wet slobbery kisses Crying and whining whenever I pull into the drive The clawing at the door The constant humming of the vacuum I miss how inconvenient my life was with you It's much too convenient now
