Inanimate
Staring at the coarse bricks of the outside walls sky grey, rain drizzling. Loneliness can make you feel inanimate. Dissociation, a familiar cloak. Maybe as I write I feel more human but between the soft haptic feedback of every letter, I feel empty. I have more in common with the dining room table than with another human being.
