In Trend
In a world where we seek to impress, Adorn ourselves in the latest dress, We share our lives on screens so bright, Chasing the glow of a fleeting light. Why do I follow this endless race, Measuring worth by a curated face? The way I pose, the clothes I wear, In this pursuit, I find despair. To stay in vogue, to never fall behind, Is this the measure of a brilliant mind? Why must I share each moment I claim, Is it truly relevant, or just a game? I ponder this trend, this social decree, Where likes bring joy, and silence brings misery. A sickness, perhaps, in this age we roam, How do we break free, and find our true home?
