In time my child
In the depths of my soul, I find solace and peace, For the spirit of God, in me, finds release. A force so mighty, yet gentle and kind, It strengthens my spirit, my heart it does bind. In times of despair, when darkness surrounds, The spirit of God, in me, resounds. It whispers words of comfort, of hope and of grace, Guiding me through life's challenging maze. Oh, the spirit of God, so powerful and true, It fills me with courage, it helps me push through. When sickness befalls, and my child is in pain, I turn to the spirit, and it eases the strain. My Lord, do you hear me, as I sit at this table? Do you care about my thoughts, am I just a fable? For in time, my child, when the world seems insane, You'll call out to me, and I'll ease your pain. Your eyes may not believe the wonders you'll see, But a better place awaits, just trust in me. My Lord, you've bestowed upon me unwavering strength, No matter life's trials, I'll go to any length. For your spirit resides in all who believe, And in time, my child, your heart will receive. So, let us embrace the spirit of God, so strong, It guides us, protects us,
