in those darkest Days
there was a time no to long ago were we didn't talk had gone awhile without talking to each other it wasn't because I didn't believe in you it was because I was afraid that I wasn't worth your love and time haven't always been a righteous person but have never stopped needing you in my life for a while your daughter lived a life of being out of control and hurting deeply from life how it's so unfair and not kind can hear the devil footsteps behind me and my life has been lived in darkness I need someone to talk with and father who are in heaven please father hear my prayers hear your daughter asking for help sent the rain down let the thunder be heard Lord I'm standing at a crossroads and only you can point me in the right direction was so afraid that you wasn't listening and thought you left Me all alone until the light broken through the darkest day and there were no more darkness left then I knew you never left would never leave me alone always walking in life with your daughter who needs her father the most father thank you for being there for me and always listening when I need someone to talk to when feeling alone and the darkest day comes around again I look at the heavens and know your there.
