In This Love Will Be Tested
In the crucible of life, our love will face the fire, A trial by flames, that will refine and inspire. A time will come, when all we hold dear will fade, And we'll stand alone, with hearts that must not be swayed. The tempests of fate, will rage and roar, And everyone, will rise against us, on every shore. The world, a wilderness, will seem to conspire, Against our love, and seek to extinguish its sacred fire. But let us be strong, stronger than before, Unshaken and unbroken, like a temple on a rock-like shore. Let our love be the anchor, that holds fast, Through life's turbulent storms, and the darkest of pasts. For love, like steel, is tempered in the fire, And emerges pure, with a strength that never tires. It's the beacon in darkness, the guiding light, That shines through the veil, of endless night. When all seems lost, and hope begins to wane, Let our love be the fortress, that stands firm and remains. For in its depths, we'll find the strength to carry on, And rise above, to a love that's never gone. So when we're tested, and the trials come our way, Let us face them together, come what may. For in the fire of adversity, our love will shine, Like gold refined, and forever divine.
