In The Silence She Healed
She waited, not for a knock, Not for steps on the block, She waited for peace, For her stormed heart to release. She waited, not because she was weak, But because she understood the Reaction and silence of hearts, She could scream, she could cry, But she chose to touch the peak of fireceness. She lost, yes she truly did, But in that loss, something grew, A power, quiet like morning dew, A girl broken, but born new. Through the nights, her thoughts wander and roam, Asking herself if she'll ever find a home, But maybe it's in the journey, not the end, Where we learn to heal and slowly mend. One day, she'll smile, knowing she have grown, Because in every pain, a lesson is shown, And though the scars might still remain, They'll remind her she loved and felt the rain.
