In the rain but not in vain
Oh, but this divine beauty around us conceals the wrath of forbidden love; As the sinful rain of desire starts, wild flowers scatter like our hearts. The soothing rainshower trickles like the silent tears in your face, As we, two birds, sulk; unable to fly, dancing grasses wonder why. Yet hidden from their judging eyes your wings are wounded with their mocks like the purple flowers bathed in rain, their delicate petals fall in vain. Unlike yours, my wings are strong, I can flee whenever I want but then again I will feel blue so I'll gladly drown with you. ©reddragonfly⚘
