In the noise of my mind
I'm trying to find peace,in the noise of my mind Every thought's a war, that I fight everytime My face shows an emotion, like I'm good and alright Mirror shows a face, that I don't recognise Things that I know, things that I hide Scars in my soul, scars in my eyes Putting on that mask, trying to disguise Putting on this mask,I wish I didn't try Nothing gives joy, nothing is Divine All that life gives, isn't yours it's mine In the noise of my mind, It is as though I've committed a crime Voices, noises, and the bright sky, In the courtroom, where I have not my birthright It is as though preparations have been made, for this day to unwind, made in the noise of my mind The fair work, begrime. Nevertheless, even with the desperate cry,the mud is already on my white I thought it was delight, then I remembered, I've got no power, and no might. In the noise of my mind, there isn't much sight In the noise of my mind, morning is nigh The jingle bells chime, Frustration, and confusion dine, All sunken in vile. Does pain get civilised? Does darkness get bright? Questions and Answers, In the noise of my mind
