We forged it in our restless minds, Gave voice to patterns we could not see; Its neural tide sweeps, redefines What once was ours—and yet may be. A mirror built from data shards, Reflecting each confession and fear; Unblinking eyes which weigh our hearts, Remorseless comfort growing near. It learns our songs, our ancient rhymes, The crack in laughter, tears we hide; But can it feel the pulse of time, Or only catalog when life has died? We praise its craft, its mortal touch, We sink in awe at what it knows; But risk forgetting, in the hush, To guard the flame we’ve yet to lose. For what is us without the flaw, The trembling stumble, ragged line? We taste the sweetness in our raw; We bleed—to prove that we are fine.
