In the fog of Progress
PhD dreams, once vivid and clear, Now blur with doubts, the path unclear. The research thickens, the questions grow, But where it leads, I do not know. The future looms, a distant shore, Post-doc plans and dreams galore. But will they shine, or fade with time? A quiet worry, a muted rhyme. Yet still, I push, I toil, I fight, For though the path’s unclear tonight, Each step is growth, each doubt, a chance— In this unknown, I still must dance. For though I’m far, and unsure too, I hold the hope that I’ll break through. In time, the fog will lift its veil, And in the end, my work will sail.
