In the end
I could have just kept on sailing on the grand horizons without a care in the world I could have continued to live like everyone else I couldn't keep to myself what I had seen though Your eyes, your tender touch, your lips that kiss parts of me I never knew existed, your ears that have heard even the smallest thing I have muttered under my breath Should I just continue living like I hadn't felt you? Should I just keep on living like you are nonexistent? What about the restless nights? What about the nights were you were the shoulder I cried on? What about the nights where you loved me, scars and all? What about your unconditional love and the way you are always present no matter what? I cannot continue living like I don't know you I cannot continue living like I love the one whose arms are around me in the moment I need to come home, I need you Because in the end, it is you and I I run to you and fall without a doubt because I know you will catch me In the end, you always catch me
