In The Depths Of The Night
Tell me something, what are you looking for, In the depths of the night, when all's still and calm? I find myself lying in bed, longing for you, Aching for your presence in this empty realm. Is it the touch of your hand that I yearn for, Or the warmth of your embrace that I desire? In these hazy moments, my heart is unsure, Yet the longing persists, like an unquenchable fire. Are you the missing piece to my puzzle, The one who completes the story left untold? I search for you in dreams, in the stars above, Hoping to find solace in this world so cold. But alas, my dear, you remain elusive, A phantom that dances just out of reach. In the depths of my longing, I find solace, Knowing that someday, our souls will breach. So tell me something, what are you looking for, In the vast expanse of this cosmic design? For I am here, with open arms and heart, Waiting to intertwine our fates, yours and mine.
