In the darkness of my mind
In the darkness of my mind, I once had a spark But now I'm lost in this endless, lonely dark I drift through the shadows, with no purpose in sight I'm yearning for meaning, but can't see the light I used to have passion, I used to have drive But now I'm stuck in this numb, empty hive I meander through the void, with no guidance to lead I'm seeking for solace, but can't quench this need I long for a glimmer, a flicker of hope To pull me from this abyss, help me to cope I search for a purpose, a reason to strive To break free from this prison, and truly feel alive So I'll keep on wandering, through the depths of my soul Hoping to find peace, to finally feel whole I'll push through the darkness, and keep up the fight For I know deep within me, there's still a spark of light.
