In Shadows
In shadows hides a stealthy creature, unseen. Sucking energy from souls, it has a silent routine. With torpid breath, it seeks the living prey. Dismantling strength, it drains their light away. A ceaseless greed that knows no satisfaction. Leaving victims weak, overwhelmed by subtraction. Through vibrant veins, its tendrils stealthily slide. Completing its feast as vitality subsides. They smile deceitfully, the vampire's subtle guise. Masking their dark intent behind friendly eyes. They feed on innocence, in shadows they'll reside. Seeking out vulnerable souls in which to confide.
