in my head
I'll tear everyone down for you, But maybe you won't be true, Cutting deep lines in my skin, For the words you said back then, But now, I'm hurting my own fucking skin. In this labyrinth of sorrow, Lost within the dark, I follow, Chasing shadows of who thy Rome in my skin Wrapped in illusions, I'm withdrawn. I built a fortress to shelter my heart, But you slipped through the cracks, tore it apart, Now my tears fall as endless rain In forest of tears, etched lines on my soul, For those words you spoke, they took a heavy toll, But now I bleed within, my own wailing sea, Trying to find solace, as chaos embraces me. With trembling hands, I paint walls with my pain, Every stroke a reflection of the love turned disdain, Cracks form inwardly, as though the earth does quake, My spirit shatters, a vessel about to break. These demons inside, like shadows intertwined, In the depths of my mind, where darkness resides, These demons inside, like shadows intertwined, They dance in the corners, where hope wanes and dies, but I'll just sit as though nothing happened to my soul
