In My Eyes
In my eyes you were like diamonds Irresistible, irreplaceable, and impeccable Nothing could ever go wrong It would be but a dream for it to But as I close my eyes the layers start to crack The once shiny exterior, now a dark and cold middle The darkness is scary and unfamiliar I don’t know what or who this is anymore I open my eyes Only to find it isn’t a dream It wasn’t fake It wasn’t a nightmare You have gone cold and dark Eyes full of hate and disgust Where have you gone?
