In Kashmir's freezing veil,
I tremble, yet my spirit prevails. With quivering fingers, I write my tale, Emotions pouring out, like winter's gale. This year, 2024, a teacher true, Taught me lessons, both old and new. Faces revealed, masks fell away, Exposing hearts, in life's disarray. Future's path unwinds, a journey long, UPSC dreams, where will they belong? Parents' hopes, a beacon in the night, Their dreams for me, a guiding light. Memories linger, of those who did stray, Fake friends, relatives, love that went astray. Cold winds howl, anxiety's dark shroud, Yet still I stand, in positivity's proud. A strong facade, I wear with grace, But sometimes, a shoulder's warmth I crave, A place to lay my head, and breathe, To share my emotions, and let my heart speak. Alas, 'tis impossible, I'm left to face, Life's lessons alone, in this winter's place. Yet still I rise, with every fall, Vowing to grow stronger, through it all. In the years to come, I'll forge ahead, With heart aflame, and spirit unsaid. For in the fire of adversity, I'm refined, A phoenix rising, with a heart and soul aligned.
