in her memory
I recall strolling through the darkness, embracing leisurely walks in the sunlit park. We used to venture out for meals, seeking enjoyment in each other's company. Attempting to hold hands, we found amusement in their mismatched fit. It always brought a smile to my face. Together, we shared meals, indulged in video games, and immersed ourselves in movies. We even found solace in the fragrant embrace of bong rips and the sensuality of wax melts and candles. Shopping became a joint adventure, as we did everything together. However, the memory of our slow demise lingers. Silence engulfed us, causing our connection to fade away. Our conversations ceased, and we began drifting apart. Even during our morning and evening walks, the spark between us dwindled. Do you recall the moment we sat on that ledge by the water, capturing a snapshot of our shoes? And what about the Valentine's Day surprises? I would prepare a delightful dinner, accompanied by candy and a stuffed animal, or perhaps you've forgotten the roses I once surprised you with, all in an effort to bring joy to your face. I always aimed to uplift you, to make you feel good about yourself, despite your tendency to put yourself down. written by AfterDeath_XXX
