In her eyes
In her eyes ............... In her eyes Dwell the happiness I seek, I sought to be happy Yet some days I never was But with her my heart is calm. In these eyes Her passion is seen, My ways were bent But she straightened me Here I sought her love And her love was all she gave. If I could be anywhere It'd be beside her, Her warmth calls out to me As a shepherd calls to his sheep I belong nowhere else Than beside her. Here in her arms I feel safer, Pain could never reach me Yes I never needed anything else Than her calming voice Her songs are my remedy A remedy to a saddened heart. Without her I am lost I wander about without a course, Her light is all I ask for Take my heart dearest one I need only to be with you. Time maybe gone Yet my love stays Your songs are magical Your voice symbolic If harps had eyes Let them have yours You are my thoughts In every way I wish I could be with you Right next to you. © Adiela Michael
