In between π
I walk in between the lines they drew, Where blue meets pink and both bleed through, The world insists that love is straight, But hearts do not bend to walls we make. I want to kiss the sun, to touch the rain, Each warm, each a spark, their own refrain, No "half", no "phase", no borrowed hue, Just like every colour, bright and true. They ask me "pick a side to stand", But how can I, with both in hand? My compass spins to joy, not rules, My truth defies their tidy schools, For love is vast, and I belong, To every verse of every song. Between the tides, I've found my sea, Not one of half, but wholly me. - Sarkasstic
