In Between
Some days I crave the quiet place, A peaceful world without anyone else. I hide away and shut my door, Letting my mind began to soar. But other times,I seek the crowd, Their laughter's bright, their voices loud. I feel alive,I join the fun, And shine with them, beneath the glowing sun. Yet neither place feels quite like home, No matter where I am,still I don't belong. To shy to stay, too bold to leave, A restless heart with no one to grieve. I walk between the line, both in and out, Never know where I go l,where I stay. I'm being trapped, forever caught, Between the peace and noise I sought.
