In a world so big, the girl did ponder, Are her problems small, or should she wonder? Wars afar and crimes so near, A school in sorrow, filled with fear. Kids gone and a teacher too, In her heart, the sadness grew. She cried at night, feeling small, Wondering if her tears mattered at all. Low grades and no friends in sight, Seemed like problems day and night. She wondered if her struggles, her pain, Were just drops in a vast, endless rain. The world's issues, a gate so tall, She felt small, unable to make a call. But deep inside, a light did gleam, For even in darkness, dreams can dream. No matter how small, her voice could sing
